From The Administrator’s Desk With the seating of a new Board of Officers it is time for a reorganization of our Lodge. There are a number of chairmanships to be filled and a new calen-dar to be completed for the coming year. As with all programs, it does take members to run and work at the events. To keep bringing our member-ship the level of quality they expect, at a reasonable price, we need everyone’s participation. Could you be a greeter, waiter, bartender, cook, kitchen helper, bingo worker, housekeeper, groundskeeper, etc. On the fraternal side, our Governor needs to appoint several committees. Membership, Ritual, Family Activities, Community Service, Moose Legion, Government Relations, Inves-tigating, Endowment, Sports, Publications, Moose-heart/Moosehaven Admissions, Historian. We have a good Lodge and with everyone’s help we can have a GREAT Lodge. Fraternally, Tom Myers

From the Governor’s Desk A little over a year ago, I took on the position of Gov-ernor of the Lodge. I had little to no experience and was not sure I could commit the time needed to pro-duce positive results. It didn’t take long to see that team work with a group of good strong minded board offi-cers make the job easier than I first thought it would be. I look forward to another strong, fun year at the Lodge and decided to take on the position for a second year. As some of you are aware, my job requires me to work a ?wheel shift? and I can not be at the Lodge as often as I would like to be. I am very thankful to the board for picking up the slack and to the Lodge Administrator Tom Myers, who performs most of the tasks needed to keep the Lodge running as smooth as is does. They all do a great job, some have been on the board for awhile and could use a break. Please think about getting in-volved in Your Lodge to help keep it as much fun and secure as it has become. We are in need of people to chair committees and do small jobs that need to be done. Please e-mail me if you are interested in lending a hand. Not much time is required and everyone bene-fits. Thanks to the generosity of the Council Of Higher Degrees, anyone who signs up to become a new mem-ber will have the twenty dollar enrollment fee waived. Now is a good time to get your friends to join. Mem-bership is what keeps us strong. The summer is fast approaching. The Bocce Ball Court will be ready as well as the Horseshoe Pits You can use the grounds even if the Lodge is closed. Many great events are in the works for the rest of the year. And as always, comments and suggestions from the membership help make things happen. Stop by on a Friday night and make use of the new game area. See you at the Lodge. Chances will be sold at the Saturday Night Din-ner/Dances during the months of June, July, and August. It will be on display. Hey, you may be the lucky winner! The ?Town of Hyde Park Garage Sale? held on May 16th was not very successful. We will discuss ?other ? possible options at the upcoming WOTM bi-weekly meetings.
